Harvard World Model United Nations (WorldMUN) travels to a different city every year, with the goal of fostering authentic cross-cultural connections. We aim for our conferences to embody the ‘WorldMUN spirit,’ a guiding principle that encourages friendship and cooperation across borders, along with a deeper understanding of cultures and perspectives beyond one’s own. The world’s most diverse collegiate model UN conference and one of the largest, past WorldMUN destinations have included Rome (2016), Montreal (2017), Panama City (2018), Madrid (2019), Paris (2023), Taipei (2024), and Manila (2025), with addresses from Pope Francis (2016) and King Felipe VI of Spain (2019). The 34th iteration of WorldMUN will take place in Lima, to be hosted by Harvard WMUN 2026 Lima Team.

Building upon our success in Manila, we are excited to announce WorldMUN 2026, our third conference since the lockdown. Our leadership team comprises nine Secretariat members who collectively have experience in organizing 13 Harvard-affiliated model UN conferences. We are committed to a successful conference in Lima by bringing together a group of experienced leaders.

With nations across the world navigating political transitions, we hope WorldMUN can serve as a symbol of collaboration, cooperation, and understanding.

We look forward to welcoming you to Lima in March 2026.
